A simple Formula for MLM success that anyone can follow

I ran across an interesting little distinction that, when fully understood and properly applied, will forever change the way you think, act, and teach the art of building your MLM business.

Vince Lombardi, who coached two teams to World Championships, observed that when football games were over, it always seemed that errors got more attention than successes. The newspaper and television media would highlight, analyze, and discuss the mistakes. One day, Lombardi decided, ‘From now on, we are only going to replay our winning plays.’ And look what happened to him and his team—his theory worked!

Give Value, do More Than is Expected in your MLM Presentations

What:

One thing most of us have in common is that we love to get a little bit more than we paid for. This idea, is called “Give Value”, and involves two elements: first is to know and/or establish what is expected and then, to deliver above and beyond those expectations.

Why:

At a minimum, you want people to be satisfied with your MLM presentation, sales pitch, speech, meeting or MLM training session while achieving your objectives this is equivalent to “getting your money’s worth”. Beyond the basics, you want to be respected and remembered as someone who perhaps did just a bit more than required to get the job done (it’s how we build great reputations).

Is there a Secret to Personal Leadership?

You have been displaying Personal Leadership in your life, and it has proven to get you to where you need to go every morning.

The Formula For turning Failure into Success

Failure is not a single, cataclysmic event. We do not fail overnight. Failure is the inevitable result of an accumulation of poor thinking and poor choices. To put it more simply, failure is nothing more than a few errors in judgment repeated every day.

Now why would someone make an error in judgment and then be so foolish as to repeat it every day? The answer is because he or she does not think that it matters.

On their own, our daily acts do not seem that important. A minor oversight, a poor decision, or a wasted hour generally doesn’t result in an instant and measurable impact. More often than not, we escape from any immediate consequences of our deeds.

If we have not bothered to read a single book in the past ninety days, this lack of discipline does not seem to have any immediate impact on our lives. And since nothing drastic happened to us after the first ninety days, we repeat this error in judgment for another ninety days, and on and on it goes. Why? Because it doesn’t seem to matter. And herein lies the great danger. Far worse than not reading the books is not even realizing that it matters!

Professional Impressions will make or break Your MLM Business

These are the The 10 Most Common Business Etiquette Errors and it is something you need to be aware of and share with your MLM Team so they are not doing them.

1. Wasting other people’s time. Are you sometimes late for appointments? Do you occasionally arrive unprepared? Have you missed deadlines for turning in assignments? Do you feel that barging into another person’s conversation or work space any time you want is acceptable?

2. Speaking before thinking. Listen carefully to yourself. Do you call people by inappropriate nicknames or use forms of address such as “Hon” or “Babe” that could be interpreted as demeaning or insulting? Where are the so-called Professional MLM Network Marketers?

Back on March 13, 2004 at 10:45am a Motion to Form the Distributor Rights Association was placed on the floor of the Clarion Hotel, Las Vegas, at a deliberative assembly open to anyone involved with the MLM Industry and unanimously passed by the audience of approx 80 Professional Network Marketers along with some Corporate Executives and MLM Attorneys that represent companies and distributors.

And on that same evening, the operational structure and Board of Directors and Officers were nominated and unanimously voted on… so that a Staff was in place to begin creating a Voice for all Independent Contractors who call themselves MLM’ers/Network Marketers! (approx 13M in US).

The attorney panel was awesome as we drafted, and voted on the standards to be published in the 1st Edition of the “Independent Contractor’s Global Standards and Education for Companies and Distributors” now published and available to any one who becomes a member or wants to buy a copy. Robert’s Rules of Order was used and adopted by this deliberative assembly to keep parliamentary order and parallel early American legislative procedure. Read the rest of this entry »

Do you Build your MLM Business scattered or with a Daily Method of Operation?

You grab the mail from your mailbox. Between all the bills and junk mail you find a letter from your MLM company. You rip it open and pull out a bonus check. You laugh and say, “I might as well cash it and go shopping!”

On your way to the bank you notice about 50 cars, bumper to bumper, slowly following a hearse.

Suddenly the hearse accelerates to over a hundred miles per hour. Your sense of adventure kicks in and you decide to pursue. You rush past fifteen other cars just to keep up with the speeding hearse.

The hearse makes a U-turn, followed by a right turn and then a sharp left turn. Luckily you’re Mario Andretti’s cousin, so you’re able to stay on his tail, but 20 of the other cars can’t keep up and drop out.

The hearse speeds up for a mile, zips down an alley, runs a red light and disappears into heavy traffic. Even you can’t keep up, so you decide to quit trying. Read the rest of this entry »
