When you began your MLM business you probably started by making a list of people you know.  That is always a good start because you are only looking for a few Key People and it should come from those you Know, Like and Trust. 

I have always found that after making the list I prefer to categorize people because some on my list I wouldn’t want to work with.  That should not preclude you from sharing the product with them (I don’t believe anyone would be offended if you make some money because they made a purchase of something they’d never know about if you didn’t tell them!)  Everyone you know can benefit from the products or service, but they may not make a great MLM business partner or Team mates.  That is YOUR decision and it is important you understand the responsibility you have each time you choose to enroll someone on your MLM Team!

When your talking to people, you will find some are naturally a perfect fit for your MLM product/service and you just aren’t sure if they would make a good fit for your MLM Team.  In fact, they might be quite anxious to get started with your MLM Product and you aren’t necessarily ready to discuss a partnership with them.

Recently one of my distributors asked me what she should do about all the guilt she is feeling.  It seems she was getting feedback from some friends that she was so focused on her MLM business that she wasn’t spending as much time with them.  When she talked about what she was doing you could just hear her enthusiasm, her desire to learn and grow and how excited she was about the future.  She is still a fairly new distributor and when we initially talked she had mentioned her extensive friendships and all the good times they have had together. 

Whatever situation you are in - you must always look ‘after number one’ (yourself) first.

We weren’t put on this earth to be unhappy and miserable because of how other people affect us. We are here to enjoy ourselves, to have fun, and to make the most of what natural talents we have been given. Read the rest of this entry »

What’s really neat about doing what you love is that it releases a huge amount of energy, enthusiasm and zest for living. It frees up your creativity and adds a vibrancy to your being that you take with you wherever you go and into whatever you are doing.

Putting your attention and focus on ideas and in areas that capture your imagination sweeps you up and carries you along on a wave of excitement that will power you towards your MLM dreams. What could be more joyous than that?

Doing what you love is much more than a leap in the right direction, it’s a vital brick on your road to freedom.

However, because we tend to be so caught up in the pressures and stresses of our everyday life we probably rarely think about what we’re doing with our time and energy spent in building our MLM business. And if we do it is often only a fleeting thought before our dreams become buried beneath a mountain of must do’s, obligations and responsibilities until we no longer know they are there.

Ask yourself the following questions to help you unearth your true MLM skills and talents. 

7 Questions To Find Out Where Your Heart Lies within your MLM:

1. What are you intuitively attracted to? 
2. What makes time fly for you? 
3.  What things do you accomplish easily, seemingly without effort? 
4.  What do you catch yourself thinking about in unguarded moments? 
5.  What do you easily become immersed in, what absorbs your attention totally? 
6.  Where do your day dreams take you? 
7.  What is the one thing that more than anything else you keep coming back to?

Make a note of the answers as they come to you. Don’t force yourself to find answers but keep the list handy and listen for that inner voice that knows you so well. It will gladly reveal what is in your heart and help you to discover the talents and skills so you can have fun while fulfilling your MLM goals.

It is a well-documented fact that the players who hold the record for the highest goals, hits, or baskets also miss more than other players.

Some even hold the record for both!

Why? Well, they know that the only way they are going to ’score’ is by attempting to in the first place. They know that they WILL score on a certain percentage of their efforts - so they shoot as much as they can.

Remember…missing only means that you are one step closer to scoring.

Life is a challenging thing. MLM and Network Marketing will challenge you like nothing has before!

It’s a challenge to get up when your alarm goes off…it’s a challenge to go out to work everyday not really knowing what to expect…it’s a challenge to pick up the phone and make that follow-up call…it’s a challenge to start conversations with strangers.

But…it’s what’s called a “zero sum” game.

You get back what you put in.

Sometimes you have to give that little bit more…push yourself that little bit harder…in order to set yourself up for the breakthroughs that will come your way.   And if your persistent, they always come your way in Network Marketing.

Life isn’t easy. Sure it can be made easier…but usually at the expense of what you really want to achieve.

Action Point:

Are you taking out more than you put in?

Try pushing your comfort boundaries and you will be surprised at how easy it is to ‘raise the bar’ and keep pushing even further.

This doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to work harder…just smarter. Work on yourself…use technology to automate routine tasks…and focus on quality instead of quantity.

In his brilliant book, “A Brief History of Time,” Professor Stephen Hawking opens with the story of a well-known scientist who gave a public lecture on astronomy. The scientist described how the moon orbits the earth, the earth orbits the sun, and how our solar system orbits around the center of the galaxy. When he finished, a little old lady got up and said, “What you have told us is rubbish. The world is really a flat plate supported on the back of a giant tortoise.”

The scientist gave a knowing smile and replied, “What is the tortoise standing on?”

“You’re very clever, young man, very clever,” she replied. “But it’s turtles all the way down!”

We all know people like that little old lady. The point is, why try to convince them otherwise? If they believe that the universe is a big stack of turtles—or that all network marketing opportunities are illegal pyramids—nothing you present to the contrary is going to change their belief.
