Do your qualities match your MLM prospects qualities?

Effective MLM leaders are always on the lookout for good people. I think each of us carries around a mental list of what kind of people we would like to have in our MLM organization.

Think about it. Do you know who you’re looking for right now? What is your profile of the perfect MLM prospect?

What qualities do these people possess? Do you want them to be aggressive and entrepreneurial? Are you looking for leaders? Do you care whether they are in their twenties, forties, or sixties? Stop right now, take a moment, and make a list of the qualities you’d like to see in the people on your MLM team. Find a pencil or pen, and do it now before you read any farther.

Don’t believe the MLM Hype that you should “Fake It ‘TiL You Make It”

I believe it’s time for us to retire this well-worn phrase. It represents an old way of thinking about enrolling people and sharing your MLM business. In essence, telling people to “fake it ’til you make it” is teaching dishonesty, and the language of “faking” does not imply personal evolution or personal change, but presents something that’s not really you.

I’m not saying this is the intention of Networkers who use this phrase. I can understand what’s behind it. It’s an intention to have people be out there stretching themselves even though they may be fearful. It’s the idea that acting like you’re a success will create the behavior that really will lead to success. People also say this in an effort to get new distributors off the idea that until they know everything they can’t take action. You know the cliche — the ultra-educated Networker who’s never sponsored someone. Read the rest of this entry »

Building your MLM business naturally with your List

When you began your MLM business you probably started by making a list of people you know.  That is always a good start because you are only looking for a few Key People and it should come from those you Know, Like and Trust.

I have always found that after making the list I prefer to categorize people because some on my list I wouldn’t want to work with.  That should not preclude you from sharing the product with them (I don’t believe anyone would be offended if you make some money because they made a purchase of something they’d never know about if you didn’t tell them!)  Everyone you know can benefit from the products or service, but they may not make a great MLM business partner or Team mates.  That is YOUR decision and it is important you understand the responsibility you have each time you choose to enroll someone on your MLM Team!

When your talking to people, you will find some are naturally a perfect fit for your MLM product/service and you just aren’t sure if they would make a good fit for your MLM Team.  In fact, they might be quite anxious to get started with your MLM Product and you aren’t necessarily ready to discuss a partnership with them.

Let’s get back to the list you made Read the rest of this entry »

Your Guide to Masterful MLM Sponsoring

Think about it: If you knew why people say “yes,” don’t you think you could sponsor more people? What is the common denominator among the people who sign up and those who don’t?

The answer? It is their belief. If they believe it, that they will make money in your business, they will sign up. The opposite is also true: if they do not believe they will make money in your business, they won’t sign up!

Think about all the people you have met with who, for one reason or another, did not sign up. Ask yourself one question: Did they believe they would make money with your MLM business? Did they truly believe that within a short time they could be earning $3,000 or $5,000 a month?

No. If they had believed, they would have signed up, wouldn’t they? Read the rest of this entry »

11 Factors stopping You from signing up your MLM Leads

Have you ever been certain an MLM lead was going to join your group, only to have him turn you down? Do you struggle to bring people into the business, while others in your company have much higher success rates? Have you ever wondered why some people, who are obviously “perfect” for the business, never even seriously consider it?

The answer to all these scenarios may be one or more of the 11 little-known but critical factors in play throughout your recruiting process. Each of these 11 factors has a serious effect on the ways prospects view both you and your MLM opportunity.  In fact, if you didn’t cover these with your current Reps, you will see they come in play there, too!

Some of them may be addressed by your website or personal meeting, others during a telephone call (with or without your sponsor); still others may be handled in the follow-up emails they receive; but they all must be addressed someplace, or your results will suffer.

For each of these factors that you don’t deal with correctly, you will meet with a corresponding decrease in the number of qualified people you sign up. By this, I mean that you will miss signing up good people, who would do well in an MLM business if they did join. The more of the 11 factors not addressed in your system, the more good people you’re missing. Read the rest of this entry »

Have you read the Book, “Think and Grow Rich”, by Napoleon Hill?  It is the bible for many in business, yet I’m surprised how many have never heard of it or haven’t actually read it.  I can honestly say that the book is responsible for me never becoming an employee of someone else.  I’ve always been an entrepreneur and I owe it to the fact that I READ that book.

What I’d like to share is the story behind that book and how it came to be.  I hope it Inspires you enough that you’ll pick the book up and read it and see how you can make it fit in your life.

This is the story of how Napoleon Hill was commissioned by Andrew Carnegie who was the wealthiest man in the world at the time, to write the Laws of Achievement. Out of which came the book Think and Grow Rich. Napoleon Hill was in his early 20’s, a young journalist, when he was given a 3 hour interview with Carnegie.
