Every discipline in your MLM, can reap Multiple Rewards

For every disciplined effort you put into your MLM business, there are multiple rewards. That’s one of life’s great arrangements. In fact, it’s an extension of the Biblical law that says that if you sow well, you will reap well.

Here’s a unique part of the Law of Sowing and Reaping. Not only does it suggest that we’ll all reap what we’ve sown, it also suggests that we’ll reap much more.

Life is full of laws that both govern and explain behaviors, but this may well be the major law we need to understand: for every disciplined effort, there are multiple rewards. Read the rest of this entry »

How are you using Boundaries to build your MLM business?

Good fences make good neighbors, but do good personal boundaries make good Networkers?

Yes.

While many  Network Marketers have been conditioned to get “close” to the prospect, the real goal is to build strong, lasting relationships. The more distinct the boundaries of a relationship, the easier it is for upline and downline to know, like, and trust each other — which is essential to starting and building a business together. Boundaries are key to maintaining both strong relationships and individual strength through the inevitable ups and downs of our business.

What exactly is a Boundary and How can You Use One?

In simplest terms, a boundary sets limits, makes distinctions, informs you as to what is you and what is not you. A boundary makes clear the distinction between you and others, and tells you where one thing ends and another begins. It lets you know that another’s ideas, values, and feelings are not necessarily yours. A boundary is flexible and permeable, letting information flow back and forth.  It allows you to actively listen without having judgments. Read the rest of this entry »

How to Beat the Cycle of Procrastination in your MLM Business

Do you ever get a feeling that your entire MLM Team is in Procrastination?  Let’s see if we can pull together and help those we work with by identifying your issues and then theirs.

Success Tip #1:
The actions you execute each and every day are your choice and under your control.

If you’re anything like I was, you’ll relate to the piles of paper that build up, and tasks you never seem to get the time to complete. All the little things around the house that need to be completed, along with the annoyance and frustration they cause.

Interestingly enough, the more responsibilities I take on, the more I knew I needed to tackle that dirty little habit.  I knew that it would become a severe limiter on my success if I let this all too common habit permeate my life.

And that’s all procrastination really is – a bad habit.

Success Tip #2:
The good news is that if you can develop bad habits, you can also develop good ones!

All you need to do to get started on creating success habits, is to have desire. Read the rest of this entry »

Give Value, do More Than is Expected in your MLM Presentations

What:

One thing most of us have in common is that we love to get a little bit more than we paid for. This idea, is called “Give Value”, and involves two elements: first is to know and/or establish what is expected and then, to deliver above and beyond those expectations.

Why:

At a minimum, you want people to be satisfied with your MLM presentation, sales pitch, speech, meeting or MLM training session while achieving your objectives this is equivalent to “getting your money’s worth”. Beyond the basics, you want to be respected and remembered as someone who perhaps did just a bit more than required to get the job done (it’s how we build great reputations).

How:

Here are Seven Secrets on how to Give Value: Read the rest of this entry »

Do you Build your MLM Business scattered or with a Daily Method of Operation?

You grab the mail from your mailbox. Between all the bills and junk mail you find a letter from your MLM company. You rip it open and pull out a bonus check. You laugh and say, “I might as well cash it and go shopping!”

On your way to the bank you notice about 50 cars, bumper to bumper, slowly following a hearse.

Suddenly the hearse accelerates to over a hundred miles per hour. Your sense of adventure kicks in and you decide to pursue. You rush past fifteen other cars just to keep up with the speeding hearse.

The hearse makes a U-turn, followed by a right turn and then a sharp left turn. Luckily you’re Mario Andretti’s cousin, so you’re able to stay on his tail, but 20 of the other cars can’t keep up and drop out.

The hearse speeds up for a mile, zips down an alley, runs a red light and disappears into heavy traffic. Even you can’t keep up, so you decide to quit trying. Read the rest of this entry »

What it Takes to Launch Success with your MLM / Network Marketing Team

You may not be new, but you do need tips to keep an eye on those who are!  When your building an MLM team, you need to be able to determine when someone needs help or just plain won’t make it.

When it comes to abundance, one of the most common “set-ups” for scarcity results from lack of awareness and understanding of the process required to create or access it.

Consider the space shuttle at take-off. Have you noticed its huge fuel tanks? I once read that the space shuttle uses about 85 percent of that fuel in the first five minutes of its flight! It is being launched into space where it will orbit around the earth for five to ten days, yet it uses 85 percent of its fuel in the first five minutes! Why?

It needs the fuel to overcome inertia and get moving. Once it actually lifts off, it needs more fuel to gain speed and break through the earth’s gravitational field. Only after it has made it through gravity can it be carried by earth’s orbit for the duration of its mission.

As your MLM Team begins to “launch” toward their goals and abundance, it is important that you understand the importance of this example. Anytime someone sets a new goal, they will also need to overcome “inertia” to get moving toward that goal. Just like the space shuttle, they will need to have lots of “fuel” to do this. (By the way, if you’re wondering what this has to do with abundance, the state of inertia is rarely abundant.) Read the rest of this entry »

The Top 10 Activities of Top Networkers

Are you interested in finding out what other real mlm hitters did to succeed? After interviewing hundreds of highly successful MLM Marketers by phone, email, and in person, it became clear to me that there are ten activities nearly all of them have in common. Here’s what I learned and have to say about it:

1)  Sign up new people personally every month. They all said the same thing: The number one thing they did to be successful and reach their level of income was to personally sponsor new people every single month. When I first started, I calculated that if I put in three to five new customers or distributors every day, seven days a week, for four years, I would have 6,000 people in my business. In that compensation program, that would be enough to be earning a million dollars. So for four years, I strived to do that, either with personal contacts or helping people in my organization. Even though I’ve reached a high income, I don’t stop personally bringing new people in.

2)  Develop leaders every one to three months. It’s important to personally sponsor people as customers every month, but you need to also focus on finding new Business builders so you’ll have a minimum of four, if not 12, new people at the end of the year to work with. In my experience, most people who sign up as customers rarely decide later to build the business. They usually do it within the first two weeks or never. I don’t know if that’s true in every company, but that’s what I’ve found.  So attain new distributors monthly. Read the rest of this entry »
