Do you know the 18 Reasons to use 3-way calling?

When is the last time you did a 3-way call to help build credibility with your MLM prospect?  Are you comfortable asking others for their 3-way time and support?

3 way calls can be very important to show the MLM team concept we have and is usually done after you’ve had a chance to determine you have a real MLM prospect.

My philosophy is that a 3-way call should be a support call.  That means helping to get the MLM prospects questions answered and to train you in the process.

So here are 18 reasons to consider 3-way calling to help you in your Success:

  1. Introduce prospects to someone in their field of interest.
  2. Encourage a prospect to go to the next step in the information process.
  3. Have the upline handle an objection or question.
  4. Train a new member of the Team on phone techniques.
  5. Get people excited. Read the rest of this entry »

MLM: No Sales Required

Have you worked like crazy in your Network Marketing opportunity for months or years, talked to hundreds, maybe thousands of prospects, and achieved very little result? Ever wonder why those ex-truck drivers and ex-welfare moms posing next to their Lamborghinis and million dollar homes can do it and you can’t?  Have you ever thought “What’s wrong with me?”

If so, you’re in good company. Thousands of would-be successful distributors are giving up or starting over yet one more time, and most of them are headed for a familiar dead-end result. You see, they lack one little piece of vital information. If they knew and accepted this little morsel of truth, a futile and continuous round of failure would be transformed into a path of assured success and fulfillment. It would transform their hours of teeth-clenching and gut-wrenching “working the numbers” into pleasant exchanges with interested and qualified prospects, many of whom would join their organizations. Knowing this tidbit can do the same for you!

What is this closely held and much-denied secret? It is that effective Network Marketing requires selling!

Horrors! You say they told you that you didn’t have to be a salesperson? There it was, right there in their ad: “No Selling Required!” They said, “Just share the products and the opportunity with a few others, help them do the same!” They may have overstated the simplicity and ease just a bit. Feature: Who Are You to Your MLM Prospects?

If I mention the words “photocopier” or “overnight delivery” or “personal computer,” chances are that a specific brand name immediately pops into your mind. When you go to the grocery store, don’t you gravitate toward certain products over and over because you know them by name and think to look for them each time you walk down the aisles?

In each of these situations, you’re activating “mental shelf space” — the automatic association of a product or service with the person or organization delivering it. That is the kind of powerful mental connection that each of us needs to develop for our MLM business. If you’re an expert Networker, not only will the people you know think about you when the MLM product or MLM service you’re associated with comes up in conversation, but your name rolls off their tongues as quickly as the recognized brand of overnight delivery service.

Please understand, we’re not talking about a right or wrong way to network. Even a broken clock is right twice a day; however, different Networking styles produce different results. Is your Networking style appropriate for you, your Networking partners, your markets, your MLM products and services, and your own goals and objectives? Will it bring you to the results you’re after? Only you can answer these questions.

Take a moment to think — when your network of acquaintances thinks about you, what do you guess comes to mind? Analyst, insurance person, that guy from the office, international marketer? You know the saying, “It’s not what you know, it’s who you know”? Ask yourself who knows you. Do they know what you can do for them? When they think of the MLM product or service you provide, do they automatically pull your name off the shelf? There’s no reason they shouldn’t; you need to decide what perception you want to create of yourself.

I tell my prospective MLM distributors that passively thinking about something does nothing for their wallets. Remember when you were growing up, and people told you to “think before you speak”? Sage advice to be sure, but focused, targeted action must follow the thoughts!

You and I will work very hard over our lifetimes. Hard work is not the challenge. Working smart is. Short of scientific inquiry and space exploration, there’s not a lot of “new” information; this means it’s in your power today, through your choice of a Networking approach, to create mental shelf space for yourself in enough people’s minds to build a booming MLM business.

What style are you employing and what methods are you using to become known to your MLM target market? Read the rest of this entry »

The Wrong Combination Could Be Deadly For Your MLM Business

Strategy and tactics. What’s that have to do with MLM business success?

More than you could imagine…

The proper alignment of strategy and tactics is a requirement for success in military operations. And when it comes to “big” mega-corporations most people realize you need a focus on and a balance in this power team as well.  But when it comes to MLM business success most owners fall woefully short of alignment and focus on their business strategy. Tactics are what rule the day… just about every day!

That’s why understanding how to manage this foundational balancing act could be the single most important intellectual asset you develop as an MLM business owner.

Let’s get started with two quick definitions.

Strategy: “Strategy” is your carefully and intentionally planned approach to achieving success in business ownership.  From your MLM business as a whole, to the decisions made on a day-to-day basis - your success hinges on having a solid strategy. Your overall strategy will impact and mold your minor strategies in key growth areas like systems development, marketing, sales and your client service policies. Read the rest of this entry »

MLM: Do what you Fear and the fear goes away

Building an MLM business can be a scary experience for some people because it involves talking to other people - and talking to other people means exposing yourself to the possibility of rejection and disappointment.

No matter how often you tell yourself that when someone says no they are only rejecting the MLM opportunity (and truthfully, their own potential) and not you, it still hurts!

No matter how often you tell yourself that you get paid for telling your story, regardless of the outcome, or that every no is a valuable learning experience, it is still disappointing. Read the rest of this entry »

Network Marketing: MLM Suspect or MLM Prospect

It’s NO secret that our business requires we talk to people…new people…everyday!

I’ve never had to buy MLM leads because I have the internet at my fingertips and it’s easy to start conversations anytime you want!  I actually have a voice room, so I don’t even need to pick up the phone!  30 minutes here and there can create all the MLM leads of opportunity seekers you’ll ever need.  They are ALL over the net.

So when you begin building your MLM business, you don’t want to *think* everyone should be in it, you just want a Few Key People.  The best way to determine who is Key is by using a Pre-Approach. This is the qualification step - the one that determines whether you have a suspect or an actual prospect. Read the rest of this entry »

Happy New Year 2008!

Happy New Year, this post is going to focus on Network Marketing with an Internet Focus for 2008.

Here are five things you should be aware of in 2008 to capitalize on as much MLM profit as you can:

  • The internet market is huge. But YOUR market is actually very small. In general, all niche markets on the internet are very competitive. New marketers are popping out like mushrooms with amazing products to be offered and they’ll win the game.  You’ll need to brand yourself in your market because it will be the same JV partners, forums, search engine rankings, etc that your competitor will go after.

What’s unique about you?  In other words, if your MLM product is going to help someone get healthier, why would they buy from you when there are 101 products out there, doing or saying the same thing? Go figure and you’ll be rich. Read the rest of this entry »
