People ask me all the time about how long they can expect to work before they reach the “PAY-OFF” in MLM.
Let’s look at this from the traditional perspective of what you’d be doing if you weren’t an MLM Distributor.
The forty-year plan is the best that folks can hope for in traditional businesses. So, what’s the forty-year plan, you ask? By age twenty-five, most people have an idea of what profession they’ll enter, anything from a fishing guide to a surgeon. Read the rest of this entry »

It’s NO secret that our business requires we talk to people…new people…everyday!
I’ve never had to buy MLM leads because I have the internet at my fingertips and it’s easy to start conversations anytime you want! I actually have a voice room, so I don’t even need to pick up the phone! 30 minutes here and there can create all the MLM leads of opportunity seekers you’ll ever need. They are ALL over the net.
So when you begin building your MLM business, you don’t want to *think* everyone should be in it, you just want a Few Key People. The best way to determine who is Key is by using a Pre-Approach. This is the qualification step – the one that determines whether you have a suspect or an actual prospect. Read the rest of this entry »

The key to developing new disciplines is consistency. The key to developing consistency is what I call a DMO (Daily Method of Operation). A DMO is a specific plan of daily activities that, when followed consistently, will enable you to sustain and accelerate momentum in any area of your life! For example, if you wanted to become a serious Businessbuilder, your first step would be to establish some momentum by taking Immediate Action such as making a list and categorizing people. Once you’ve done that, then you need to take steps to hear how your business is presented or start approaching through the product…you do have your own testimonial…don’t you?
Obviously, doing these tasks one time or once in a while isn’t going to lead to any significant results or your goal of BEcoming a serious Businesbuilder. To sustain and accelerate your momentum, you need to do it Every Day and follow a consistent training program.
To establish some business momentum, your sponsor should be providing you with steps to take, baby steps, but if you’ve been doing everything asked, it is a practice in building and sustaining momentum. Read the rest of this entry »

Question: What do you and every one of the greatest Networkers in our MLM industry have in common?
Answer. A 24-hour day!
Yes, the 24-hour day is a great common denominator. All of us who desire success in Network Marketing are using 24 hours of our day already. We may say to ourselves, “As soon as things slow down a bit, I’ll be able to work my Networking business.” The problem is things never slow down!
Many of us act as if our activities will somehow make room for us to work our business. Unfortunately, it doesn’t happen like that. You have to make it happen. To get something different, you need to do something different. Read the rest of this entry »

Have you read the Book, “Think and Grow Rich”, by Napoleon Hill? It is the bible for many in business, yet I’m surprised how many have never heard of it or haven’t actually read it. I can honestly say that the book is responsible for me never becoming an employee of someone else. I’ve always been an entrepreneur and I owe it to the fact that I READ that book.
What I’d like to share is the story behind that book and how it came to be. I hope it Inspires you enough that you’ll pick the book up and read it and see how you can make it fit in your life.
This is the story of how Napoleon Hill was commissioned by Andrew Carnegie who was the wealthiest man in the world at the time, to write the Laws of Achievement. Out of which came the book Think and Grow Rich. Napoleon Hill was in his early 20’s, a young journalist, when he was given a 3 hour interview with Carnegie. The following was written by Napoleon Hill. This is all in the archives of the Napoleon Hill Foundation.
This is an interesting story, take the time to read it: Read the rest of this entry »

Happy New Year, this post is going to focus on Network Marketing with an Internet Focus for 2008.
Here are five things you should be aware of in 2008 to capitalize on as much MLM profit as you can:
- The internet market is huge. But YOUR market is actually very small. In general, all niche markets on the internet are very competitive. New marketers are popping out like mushrooms with amazing products to be offered and they’ll win the game. You’ll need to brand yourself in your market because it will be the same JV partners, forums, search engine rankings, etc that your competitor will go after.
What’s unique about you? In other words, if your MLM product is going to help someone get healthier, why would they buy from you when there are 101 products out there, doing or saying the same thing? Go figure and you’ll be rich. Read the rest of this entry »
