Is your MLM Focus on what you WANT or don’t want?

“I’m always going to be in debt”
“Of course, I’ll never be really skinny”
“I could never afford it”

Ever said any of these to yourself? We all have.

If I gave you $50, and you lost $20 – you would be very disappointed wouldn’t you? Yet you are still $30 better off than before I gave it to you.

We all spend too much time focusing on what we haven’t got…or what we have lost, rather than focusing on what we want…and how we can go about getting it. Read the rest of this entry »

MLM: Perseverance or Procrastination?

Perseverance is about as important to achievement as gasoline is to driving a car. Sure, there will be times when you feel like you’re spinning your wheels, but you’ll always get out of the rut with genuine perseverance. Without it, you won’t even be able to start your engine.

The opposite of perseverance is procrastination. Perseverance means you never quit. Procrastination usually means you never get started, although the inability to finish something is also a form of procrastination.

Ask people why they procrastinate and you’ll often hear something like this: “I’m a perfectionist. Everything has to be just right before I can get down to work. No distractions, not too much noise, no telephone calls interrupting me, and of course I have to be feeling well physically, too. I can’t work when I have a headache.” The other end of procrastination – being unable to finish – also has a perfectionist explanation: “I’m just never satisfied. I’m my own harshest critic. If all the i’s aren’t dotted and all the t’s aren’t crossed, I just can’t consider that I’m done. That’s just the way I am, and I’ll probably never change.”

The Power of Great Questions in MLM

Let’s focus on finding the solutions and strategies you need to make your MLM dreams come true. You have a dream – now lets ask, How are you going to make it come true?

Success requires that we ask practical, powerful, positive questions every day.

Almost all human behavior is the result of asking and answering a question. Whether we realize it or not, when we adjust the thermostat, we are taking action based on the question, “How can I make this room more comfortable?”

Similarly, when we stand in front of the cabinet or refrigerator, we are often hoping to answer the question, “What will satisfy my hunger?”

In the same way, our personal and business decisions are the result of answering questions we ask ourselves. Typically, we choose a career based on questions such as, “What would I love to do?” or “What are my skills?”. Sometimes we select a job based on questions like, “What opportunities are available?” or, “Where can I get a job to support myself and my family?” Read the rest of this entry »

Don’t Feel Guilty For Being Selfish

Recently one of my distributors asked me what she should do about all the guilt she is feeling.  It seems she was getting feedback from some friends that she was so focused on her MLM business that she wasn’t spending as much time with them.  When she talked about what she was doing you could just hear her enthusiasm, her desire to learn and grow and how excited she was about the future.  She is still a fairly new distributor and when we initially talked she had mentioned her extensive friendships and all the good times they have had together.

Whatever situation you are in – you must always look ‘after number one’ (yourself) first.

We weren’t put on this earth to be unhappy and miserable because of how other people affect us. We are here to enjoy ourselves, to have fun, and to make the most of what natural talents we have been given. Read the rest of this entry »

Work On Enhancing Your MLM Skills

Do you remember how you felt when you walked out of school or college for the last time?

No more learning, and revising for exams EVER again! BIG mistake!

The great Charlie “Tremendous” Jones summed it up very well when he said “You are the same today as you’ll be in five years, except for two things: the people you meet, and the books you read.”

So if you stop meeting people, and stop learning, your life will be in the same condition in five years time as it is today. Read the rest of this entry »
