The Top 10 Activities of Top Networkers

Are you interested in finding out what other real mlm hitters did to succeed? After interviewing hundreds of highly successful MLM Marketers by phone, email, and in person, it became clear to me that there are ten activities nearly all of them have in common. Here’s what I learned and have to say about it:

1)  Sign up new people personally every month. They all said the same thing: The number one thing they did to be successful and reach their level of income was to personally sponsor new people every single month. When I first started, I calculated that if I put in three to five new customers or distributors every day, seven days a week, for four years, I would have 6,000 people in my business. In that compensation program, that would be enough to be earning a million dollars. So for four years, I strived to do that, either with personal contacts or helping people in my organization. Even though I’ve reached a high income, I don’t stop personally bringing new people in.

2)  Develop leaders every one to three months. It’s important to personally sponsor people as customers every month, but you need to also focus on finding new Business builders so you’ll have a minimum of four, if not 12, new people at the end of the year to work with. In my experience, most people who sign up as customers rarely decide later to build the business. They usually do it within the first two weeks or never. I don’t know if that’s true in every company, but that’s what I’ve found.  So attain new distributors monthly. Read the rest of this entry »

Rising with your MLM Team

I used to think that leaders distinguished themselves by rising above their people. It’s the “cream of the crop” theory. That was a mistake. I’ve learned that MLM leaders distinguish themselves by rising with their people, and there’s a world of difference between those two.

Leaders take people with them on the journey. You don’t go by yourself. If you’re going by yourself, you are not a leader. You might be a very self-made, successful person, but you’re not a leader. You’ve got to decide whether you’re going to be a tour guide or a travel agent.

Travel agents give you brochures and tell you all about the trip, but they’ve never even been there. They get the tickets for you, give you a planner and send you off somewhere. You don’t want to be a travel agent; you don’t want to be sending people where you’ve never been, you want to be a tour guide. You want to bring your people along with you and say, “Let me show you something. I’m going to take you places where I’ve been and lived, and tell you all about them as we go. I’m going to let you in on the journey.” Read the rest of this entry »

Network Marketing: Got a Busy Life?

Question:   What do you and every one of the greatest Networkers in our MLM industry have in common?

Answer.   A 24-hour day!

Yes, the 24-hour day is a great common denominator. All of us who desire success in Network Marketing are using 24 hours of our day already. We may say to ourselves, “As soon as things slow down a bit, I’ll be able to work my Networking business.” The problem is things never slow down!

Many of us act as if our activities will somehow make room for us to work our business. Unfortunately, it doesn’t happen like that.  You have to make it happen. To get something different, you need to do something different. Read the rest of this entry »
